The original plan was to run 8 miles with the group, so I figured I’d show up early and pick up 2 extra miles and get in a nice even 10. Except as it turned out, it was so muggy (and we were unused to the heat and humidity) that we decided to cut the run a little short. So in the end, it was just 8 miles.
